Counselling is offered to individuals with emotional, relational, and other issues and the service is based in Muswell Hill, North London.

Counselling is a process which can help in bringing about desired changes for you, your life and relationships. In time, a growing self-awareness may emerge, enabling you to see more clearly beliefs you may have been holding about yourself or patterns of behaviour you may have adopted, which have hindered you or created difficulties for you. By gaining deeper insight and understanding, this can enable you to experience being more at the helm, with a greater ability to make more informed and confident choices for your life and relationships.

Both short and long-term counselling / therapy is available with the core of my approach being person-centred in that I respect and encourage my clients’ autonomy and with the therapeutic relationship being at the heart of my approach. I offer a safe and non-judgmental place within which you may explore and work through, in manageable ways, issues you are struggling with or troubled by.

My work also draws on aspects of CBT/REBT, Psychodynamic, Gestalt and TA, enabling me to work with many issues you may wish to bring to your personal counselling. I am also able to help if you wish to explore and gain deeper insight in to your spiritual life (Christian), drawing on a well established and acknowledged integrative Christian model of counselling, which can form part of the therapeutic process if so desired by you.

I offer a professional counselling service and extend to all of my clients a genuine atmosphere of acceptance where they will be encouraged and supported.

Although most clients refer themselves for therapy, my work is also undertaken in conjunction with healthcare professionals, such as GPs and social workers, and some clients approach the service as a result of a recommendation or referral by other external agencies, churches and pastoral carers.

I adhere to the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Codes of Ethics.

My Counselling room is based in Muswell Hill, North London and is conveniently situated for easy access from many parts of London including Crouch End & Hornsey, Hampstead & Highgate, Finchley, Southgate & Barnet, Edmonton, Tottenham & Enfield - in fact most parts of North London and the Home Counties.
